Gauntlet Thunder is a dwarven cleric and a member of the Flaming Fist. She can be found in the Lower City in Act Three.

Involvement[edit | edit source]

Thunder is overseeing two privates, Koltz Fist Koltz and Crosse Fist Crosse, who are sparring the dummies at the training ground in Basilisk Gate Barracks. From time to time she shouts at them, revealing that both received an extra drill as punishment for sleeping on guard.

If spoken to, Thunder praises the player character's demeanor. In her opinion, they have a real martial experience and look more like soldiers than "armoured puppies" she has been training.

Companion approval[edit | edit source]

If the player character is a Fighter Fighter themselves, they get additional dialogue options while speaking to Thunder. In this case, the conversation is more substantial and might bring some approval / disapproval points from various companions:

  • Thunder: Tell me, if you had two wimps who slept through their shifts, what would you do?

Of all possible suggestions, Thunder approves of two first ones, and berates the player character for having a view on discipline different from hers should they choose the third one.
