Act One[edit | edit source]

Your kind happened! Unless you're here to finish the job, get over here and push!
Yeva, to a Drow player character asking what's happened

Yeva is first encountered in Act One, on the Risen Road, struggling to get inside the burning building of the Waukeen's Rest inn together with her subordinates Aelis (Fist Recruit) Fist Recruit Aelis, Ito Fist Recruit Ito, Pavel Fist Recruit Pavel and Tristan Fist Recruit Tristan. Dain Gauntlet Dain and Ephren Fist Recruit Ephren are also present but do not take part in the rescue activity. As the inn burns after being razed by a horde of goblins and drow, Yeva attempts to push through the blocked main door to no avail. If spoken to, she tells the player character that they are trying to save Ulder Ravengard Duke Ravengard who might still be trapped inside. If Wyll Wyll is in the party (or played as an origin), he recognizes the name at once, but Yeva does not react, dedicated to current task.

The party can step in and aid the Fists by crushing the door with a DC 10 Strength check. If successful, Yeva and other members of the squad run to the second floor, where Florrick can be heard shouting for help.

If freed, Florrick, along with Yeva and her Fists, immediately descends and goes outside. Florrick then announces to the Fists that Grand Duke Ravengard has been taken by the drow westward, and personally orders Yeva to report to the Manip (more likely than not Shuurga Shuurga or Vidor Vidor) for reinforcements.

Upon taking the orders, Yeva and all her recruit subordinates, along with Dain Gauntlet Dain, run away from the inn. Yeva is the only one of them who might be encountered in the game later.

Act Two[edit | edit source]

This is a bleeding shitshow. Half my squad's dead, the other half's sporting tentacles.
Yeva, if freed from the mind flayer pod

In the end of the Act Two, Yeva can be encountered again in the Mind Flayer Colony, imprisoned in a pod within the Tadpoling Centre. Upon interacting with the Neural Apparatus controlling the pods, it is revealed that Yeva has been captured and consigned to the future transformation, but is still not tadpoled (as well as Zevlor Zevlor and Shuurga Manip Shuurga in other pods around the room).

Choosing to release Yeva and other pod captives immediately leads to a battle with several victims already transformed into Mind Flayer Mind Flayers and all Intellect Devourer Intellect Devourers that spot the fight. Provided she survives, Yeva thanks the party and tells that she and her squad were defeated in their attempt to rescue Ulder Ravengard. She also confirms that the Duke was still human, alive and unbowed when she last saw him. Yeva then presumably escapes the colony with Zevlor and Shuurga, and is never met throughout the game again.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Yeva had a different role in Early Access, especially in the form of interactions with Wyll Wyll. She was the commanding officer of Wyll, before the latter turned to adventuring as a Warlock. She believed him to be all talk with no skill to back up his boisterous claims. Yeva had a completely different model in Early Access (see the Gallery section).
