Mantle of Inspiration is a College of Glamour bard class action that protects allies with a mantle that charms enemies that hit them.

Description

Imbue 2 allies with your vigour and grant them 5 temporary hit points. If they're hit with a melee attack, the attacker becomes  Charmed.

At higher levels

• At level 6, Mantle of Inspiration can target 3 allies for 8 temporary hit points.
• At level 10, Mantle of Inspiration can target 4 allies for 11 temporary hit points.

• Can't attack spellcaster. Spellcaster has Advantage on Charisma Checks in dialogue.

Notes

• The charm effect does not protect against various Multiattack abilities. It charms the attacker after the first hit of the multiattack but this does not prevent the subsequent attacks in the sequence. It works properly against enemies making multiple separate attacks through  Extra Attack or similar effects.
• The healing effect of the Cap of Curing does not trigger when using this variant of Bardic Inspiration.
• Granting temporary hit points also does not count as providing healing so it does not trigger effects like The Whispering Promise.
